3. Subscription Plans and Billing

3.1 Free Tier

ThoughtTap offers a free tier with basic optimization features, including rule-based optimization, essential templates, and limited custom rules. The free tier is provided "as is" without warranty.

3.2 Pro Tier

Our Pro tier subscription ($2.99/month or $29/year) includes advanced features such as:

• Advanced optimization rules for DevOps, architecture, and security
• Access to latest AI models through your own API keys
• 25+ specialized templates
• Optimization history and search functionality
• Priority customer support
• Additional custom rules and workspace configurations

3.3 Billing and Payment

• Recurring Billing: Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Price Changes: We will provide 30 days notice of any price changes
• Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable taxes

3.4 Cancellation and Refunds

• You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through your account settings
• Cancellations are effective at the end of the current billing period
• We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscriptions
• Refunds beyond the guarantee period are at our discretion

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree NOT to use the Service for illegal activities, creating harmful content, attempting to reverse engineer the Service, violating intellectual property rights, sharing account credentials, or automated scraping that impacts service performance.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by ThoughtTap and protected by copyright and trademark laws. You retain ownership of any code or prompts you create, granting us a limited license solely to provide the Service.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy. Key principles:

• Your code and prompts are processed locally on your device
• We do not store or access your prompts or code on our servers
• You control your own AI provider API keys
• We collect minimal data necessary for service operation

ThoughtTap integrates with third-party AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI, etc.). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe and subject to their terms of service and privacy policy.

8.2 AI Content Disclaimer

ThoughtTap optimizes prompts but does not control or guarantee the output of AI models. You are responsible for reviewing and validating all AI-generated content.
